The sign for ONE THOUSAND THIRTY FOUR is a compound of two other signs. It could be seen to have three parts. The first part is the sign for THOUSAND which resembles the sign for TEN but with the two parts unified. First the sign for ONE is made with one hand held upright in front of the chin with the palm facing the side and the index finger pointing upwards. Immediately, the index finger moves down and the sign for ZERO is made, that is, with curved fingers and the fingertips touching the tip of the thumb, the hand takes the shape of O and the hand moves quickly to the side.. Then the sign for THREE is made with the hand moving slightly more to the side and the palm facing inwards. The three middle fingers point upwards. Finally the sign for FOUR is made with the pinkie held upright along with the other three fingers, whilst the hand moves slightly more towards the side.
